Neuro Active Exercise Classes for people with Parkinson's in Havering!


Neuro Active Exercise can play a key role in helping people with Parkinson's manage their symptoms and maintain independence.

What is Neuro Active Exercise?


Exercise that challenges your brain to encourage it to create new pathways - essentially re-wiring itself!


Classes will be focusing on power, agility, balance, co-ordination, cardiovascular fitness, dual tasking and having fun!



Timetable


Monday:

5:30pm - Circuit class


Tuesday:

7:30am - Neuroactive walking


Wednesday:

7:45pm - Gym based circuit class


Thursday:

3:00pm - Gym based circuit class


Friday:

10am - Seated and non seated circuit class.


Possible classes available in the future


  • Neuroactive Spinning (static exercise bikes)
  • Karate for Parkinson's


Classes will include PD Warrior principles and are developed and run by licensed PD Instructor Kate Gore, Neurophysiotherapist with a special interest in Parkinson's.


Classes are for people with mild to moderate Parkinson's. If you are interested in Neuro Active Exercise, but have mobility issues or have had some falls, please contact us to find out more about our Neuroactive Seated Exercise Class.
