About Me

I qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from UEL in 1996. I began my first job with rotations at Epsom Health Care and it was here that I realised my interest in Neurology and took a senior neuro rotational post and decided to specialise in Neurology.

In 1998 I took a post at The Royal London and St Barts NHS trust and worked in Neurosurgery, Neuro-Oncology, Neurology and Care of the Older Person.

Having gained a great breadth of experience, in 2000, I took a Senior 1 post at South Essex NHS, where I helped set up a Multidisciplinary Community rehab team and worked in Community Neuro Rehabilitation.

After having children, I worked part time in the NHS in the Community Rehabilitation Team in Havering and part of my time in Community Neuro Private practice, and then moving to working solely in Private practice in 2010, and have continued to do this until now (except from a 9 month period during the Covid 19 pandemic, when I also worked part time in the NHS).

I am Bobath trained and use a combination of this and a functional approach depending on each clients needs. I regularly use adjuncts such as Saebo products, FES, Stick Mobility, to help clients reach their full potential.

I am a fully qualified PD Warrior Instructor and Licensee,

I am a member of Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN).
